The primary responsibility of the Financial Accountant is to produce accurate financial results and ensure appropriateness of the month-end processes for Hong Kong as well as to provide reporting and other support to the stakeholders as per needs basis.

Financial Accountabilities

• Lead month -end closing and year end closing, maintain all reporting requirements are met
• Handle full sets of accounts

(including AP, AR, invoice preparation, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, posting accounting transactions, bank payments);

• Liaise with external auditors for annual audit and other ad hoc.
• Ensure finance and accounting policies, procedures and processes are properly adhered to
• Assist in improvement in financial and accounting process
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide summary explanation

Required Experience/Characteristics

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Work independently and a good team player
• Strong time management skills and effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments
• Strong Proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both Cantonese and English
