Job Description

Our client, a Hong Kong's cultural authority delicate to hire a Project Coordinator to support the Curatorial Department. The key responsibilities fall within the following areas.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • assisting in the Sigg Prize project implementation, coordination and providing
    administrative support for the successful delivery of the project;
  • coordinating with a range of parties including but not limited to Sigg Fellowship candidates, Sigg Prize nominators, translators and related cultural institutions in realizing the project;
  • supporting logistical arrangements and onsite implementation of Jury meetings and public talk;
  • providing supports in editing, translation, transcript and proof-reading in relation to Sigg Prize project; and
  • performing other duties as assigned by supervisors when deemed necessary.

 

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree, preferably in Museum or Art Education, Museum Studies, Fine Arts, Creative Media, Digital Media, Design, Architecture, Moving Image, Cultural Management or equivalent;
  • have at least 3 years of relevant experience in assisting implementation of art programmes, preferably relating to art award or fellowship;
  • be highly-organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently and cooperatively with others against deadline;
  • have compelling project coordination skills, problem-solving skills as well as administrative skills; ands
  • have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
