Job Description

1. Assist in maintaining an effective IR program with institutional investors, sell-side analysts and other major financial institutions.
2. Enhance the awareness and interest of the Company through a proactive and robust IR program including a combination of results announcement drafting, post result conference calls, investors seminars, non-deal road shows, field trips and financial media engagement.
3. Build  /  maintain a strong network with sell side research professionals; seek, strengthen and maintain prospective investors’ interest in the Company’s latest developments and equity story .
4. Create / maintain a high-quality on-going public relation program with focus on financial media .
5. Work closely with senior executives and act as counsel for external communications related matters.
6. Monitor and benchmark the performance of peer companies in the same sector.
7. Maintain a regular dialogue with key shareholders in Hong Kong, China and overseas.

Requirements

1. Degree holder preferably in  Finance, Economics, Accounting, Journalism or related field  
2. At least 4 years’ relevant experience in listed company IR role or sell-side research or equity sales (experience in energy / utilities sector is preferred)
3. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.
4. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin
5. Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with senior executives
6. Professional qualification such as CFA and CPA will be an advantage.
7. Travelling is required.
