Job Description

Responsibilities:

  •          Being in charge of Credit Control Department
  •          Lead a team to:

-     Oversee and monitor the risk positions

  • Monitor overall credit risk of all retail, wealth management and institutional clients
  • Manage risk exposure in client level, firm level, counterparty level and product level
  • Approve and recommend clients’ limit and interest rate application

-     Propose product LTV ratio and ongoing risk monitoring for the different products (equities, futures and options, OTC investment products (including structural products, fixed income and mutual funds))

-     Arrange structural loan proposals and on-going monitoring

-     Take leading role in coordinating the firm’s daily operations including client’s fund withdrawal, trade support, block trades, placement & IPOs, error handling,etc

  • Investigate and identify operation risk and propose solutions

-     Establish, formulate and review risk related policy and procedure to meet regulatory standard

  • Credit Risk Control and Margin Lending policy, including equities, futures and options, OTC investment products (including structural products, fixed income and mutual funds)
  • Third party payment policy

-     Assist and coordinate cross-department projects

-     Arrange Internal training on risk management related matters

-     Assist to reply SFC and HKEX on queries and investigations

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or related disciplines. 
  • Professional qualification in CFA/FRM is a plus.
  • At least 5 years direct supervisory experience in managing a credit /risk management team
  • Strong analytical mind, independent & good problem-solving ability
  • Excellent command of both English and Chinese
