Our Client, a Japanese bank, is looking for the captioned role to join the support team in Hong Kong.

JOB PURPOSE:

• Responsible for marketing, relationship management and business development among new and existing customers for non-Japanese business.
• Responsible for identifying, researching & recommending credit business opportunities, developing market contacts and facilitating business transactions for the Bank.
• Responsible for supporting RM on credit analysis work

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Establish and develop market contacts (either independently or as a support to RM) for businesses selected by the Bank and develop strategies for expanding the current clientele base.
2. Identify and develop new business sectors, instruments or territories for the Bank’s credit business.
3. Help RM to manage and strengthen customer relationships, cross-sell products and services as well as portfolio risk management.
4. Prepare Credit Proposal/Credit Application for HO’s approval, review credit evaluation with risk mitigations on business / industry / financial / security analysis etc.
5. Facilitate and support Business Promotion staff in completing the transactions.
6. Provide advisory support to Business Promotion Department staff when necessary.
7. Keep abreast with market trend and business opportunities.
8. Manage the Credit Analyst Team and give supervision on the team’s activities
9. Support RM to identify & develop new business opportunities in areas under charge with an aim to achieve a more diversified customer base so as to enhance the bank’s profitability.
10. Closely monitor and keep track of latest development of existing accounts.
11. Adhere to our bank’s existing operational & administrative procedure & minimize mistakes.
12. Closely monitor covenant sheet & timely completion of credit related works including but not limited to asset assessment, watchlist, rating review & credit review.
13. Closely monitor the development of potential problem accounts & report to HO & management in a timely manner.
14. Ensure full compliance of rules & regulation set internally & externally.
15. Maintain good working relationship with team members.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• 2-3 years in handling credit evaluation and administration. 
• Relevant experience in private equity firm will be considered with priority.
• Professionalism, integrity and strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility, adaptability to Japanese culture, initiative and creativity
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
