Our client is a global MNC industrial products supplier and manufacturer with worldwide distribution channels. They have a well established business in Asia, Europe & USA. They are seeking for a seasoned, strategic & sales driven, General Manager to drive and lead their Greater China business stationing in Shanghai.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and establish new business opportunities, conduct market research to determine market competitiveness, product offering and understand competitors’ activities well
• Establish, lead, and develop business development teams
• Manage and further develop their global key account management to capitalize on new business opportunities, improve margin through selling “added value” services
• To provide leadership on new programs, organize teams and resources to execute new product development and have a strong sense of accomplishment to set highly industry standards and leadership
• To expand and develop their E-commerce platform for the Greater China region
• To appraise the capabilities of the business team members, develop and execute training and development plans for each colleague.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Mechanical / Engineering Degree or similar education
• At least 15 years relevant working commercial and industrial experiences in Sales & Marketing or general management in the industrial product industry. E-commerce experience is a definite plus. 
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Able to knock on doors of global and local potential customers cultivating and developing new business for the company.
• Knowledge and experience of industrial industry is a must
• The job is based in Shanghai
