Job Description:

• Handle toy project management from product concept stage to mass production.
• Communicate closely with US head office and factories, provide technical support to internal departments.
• Liaise with factories in product manufacturability and reliability, solving technical problems, co-ordinate with internal departments and US head office for product development debugging.
• Manage and maintain project scheduling and milestones to make sure products shipping on time.
• Suggest design improvements and modification based on company / customer standards.
• Work closely with QA, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering teams on quality control of materials and finished goods and tackling technical issues to make sure production run smoothly.
• Follow up packaging, samples and tooling development with factories ensuring that both product and packaging is fit for the purpose.
• Keep track of all design and product changes/updates/implementation timing.
• Open-minded to new ideas and methods. Evaluate feasibility through hands-on sample making/testing and/or sourcing with clear and thorough data analysis and provide technical recommendation.

Requirements:

• University Graduate in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years solid experience in project management & product development, preferably with both boys & girls toys experience.
• Proficient skills with CAD softwares including Pro-E and Solidworks.
• Familiar with contemporary US and European toys safety requirement.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Travel to and occasional stay in China are required.
