Maxim's Catering Services Division is formed in 1999 with the objective of extending the Maxim's fine traditions and innovative ideas and concept to a wider range of clientele like the tertiary education sector, banking and finance sector and the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. We now have more than 50 outlets throughout the territory with over 1,300 dedicated employees working alongside with our profound clients.
Job Description
For talents who aim to build operational expertise and develop a career in a dynamic business environment in Catering Services Division (CSD).
This program lasts for 12 months, with rotations in different department of CSD.
Program Highlights
To facilitate a fast-track learning and career development of the trainees, there are 3 core elements in the program:
Education - Structured Training
- Maxim’s Academy and CSD’s training team provide systematic training in personal and management skills to accelerate trainees’ capabilities for professional performance
Experience - Job Rotation & Special Projects
- Job rotation in different functionswith assigned function-related and division-wide projects allow the trainees to understand the full picture of our diversified Catering Services and develop key capabilities including collaboration and execution skills, which prepares them for future solid contribution in the business
Exposure - Regular Coaching & Feedback
- Intensive feedback and career coaching will be given from dedicated coaches and mentors for continuous development to set up the trainees for success
Skills & Requirements
- Diploma holder or above in Hospitality, Food Science, Nutritional Science, Food Technology and Safety, Operations Management or related disciplines.
- Graduates with a maximum of 2 years' full time working experiences
- Keen to develop a professional career in Food & Beverage / Hospitality industries
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
- Curious and analytical and strategic minded, able to make reference on market trend and grab any possible business opportunities
- People-oriented and engages with others well
- Good at making things happen despite occasional setbacks
- Candidates with working experience in Food & Beverage industry are preferred
