Your Role and Responsibilities

•        Building new relationships and expanding business with existing customers, including but not limited to demand generation, pipeline build, pricing negotiations, proposal development, and order fulfilment
•        Managing business opportunities via IBM’s preferred opportunity management system, becoming a Technology Support Services subject matter expert, and driving business utilizing a structured sales methodology on maintenance services, IBM supported multi-vendor software & open source services, as well as other IBM brand products
•        Meeting assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts
•        Closing sales deals and positively influencing customer satisfaction with respect to the engagement and IBM offerings.

Requirements

•        Bachelor’s Degree holder in Business/Computer Science/Engineering/Information System or other equivalent discipline
•        At least 15 years of experience in a solutions sales role, with some leadership experience preferred. Candidate with less experience will be considered a junior seller role.
•        Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position; understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives at large companies
•        Ability to sell open source service solutions in an enterprise environment
•        Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers
•        Ability to maintain balance of strategic and tactical skills
