Responsibilities

• Timely report to the project director and responsible for the day-to-day project management in taking forward the implementation of the System, including project tracking and control, resolving project issues, applying quality control management, liaising with all relevant parties for the implementation, and ensuring the project deliverables are provided on time and fulfil user requirements.
• Attend Project Assurance Team (PAT) meetings for the implementation of System
• Work closely with the project managers of other contractors to ensure the overall integration within the System
• Responsible/ delegate personnel to be the key manager providing coordination services for key management and key storage of the System
• Assist bid team to prepare project management related proposals and lead the technical teams to prepare technical related proposals to respond the requirements of the tenders for bidding new projects
• Manage and communicate with different vendors, partners, and stakeholders
• Forecast work efforts required for each phase of a project, closely monitor the project schedule

Requirements

• a degree or above in computer science or equivalent;
• at least 15 years of post-qualification IT Experience;
• at least 15 years of project Management Experience;
• at least 11 years of Project Management Experience in the management of IT project(s) for at least 1,000 user per IT project;
• at least 10 years of Project Management Experience in managing IT project(s) in relation to booking of leisure services for the general public;
• at least 10 years of Project Management Experience in managing IT project(s) in relation to reading personal documents issued by government for identity verification with annual transactions over 1 million or adoption of kiosk for conducting more than 100,000 business transactions annually;
• IT experience in delivering IT system implementation services in relation to web applications;
• Good knowledge on project management and SDLC standards;
• Attained certification in widely accepted project management methodologies such as PMP/ PRINCE2 is highly desirable;
• Experience in application development using Java EE/JBOSS EAP/Apache/ Oracle/ etc. will be advantage;
• Experience in infrastructure implementation using x86/ midrange servers/ Windows/ Unix/ Red Hat Enterprise Linux/ VMware/ SAN storage/ SAN switch etc. will be advantage;
• Good communication, interpersonal and customer-interaction skills;
• Working experience in government projects, familiar with government implementation and maintenance methodologies and documentation standards is a plus;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua);
