Responsibilities

• Develop the company’s strategy for using technological resources
• Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
• Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure
• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Build and supervise quality assurance and data protection processes
• Monitor team performance and IT budgets to assess technological performance
• Monitor web analytics and making recommendations that align to business goals
• Establish software development process and set objectives for process
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Ensure company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations
• Able to perform risk management, e.g. disaster recovery, back up procedures, security control to ensure strong IT platform and avoid discrepancies
• Interact with user departments closely to recommend IT solutions that can evaluate existing business workflow and identify problems to maintain smooth operation of all corporate electronic systems

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
• Experience in commercialization of R&D outcomes is an advantage;
• Experience in building successful new IT domains or AI based project, data analytics and marketing tools
• Having senior level Design/Architecture experience
• Experience in architecture and solution of enterprise applications (Cloud-based platforms like AWS, Ali Cloud) and digital capabilities (e.g. APIs, Micro services architecture)
• Successful record in senior R&D management and technical leadership with reputable organizations
• Knowledgeable in software development methodology, practice, design patterns and architecture
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Excellent leadership, team building, management skills and organizational abilities
• Problem-solving aptitude and excellent analytical skills
• Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, brand leaders, and other senior management throughout the company
• Can withstand work pressure and have high sense of responsibility
