Job Description

A key person who involves in IT transformation projects to achieve in future business visions and objectives, you will:

• Implement highly complex, cross-team projects with high impact
• Manage a medium size team with the mixture of onsite and offshore resources
• Build high performance team
• Develop team with wider exposure and new technology stack
• Assists with coordination of Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to meet regulatory and technical requirements
• Clearly communicate any new or changes to features, infrastructure or application environment to key stakeholders
• Foresees problems, recognizes the needs for flexibility and diverse solutions
• Has positive impact to specific organizational entities & understands nature of impact
• Evaluates and defines existing technology standards to ensure compliance with program-level requirements
• Tracks emerging technology and policy trends that might affect day-to-day operations
• Promotes agile principles and methodology
• Participates in idea and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions

Job Requirements

• Demonstrates all core skills, and good interpersonal skills for the role
• Understands the corporate climate & culture
• Over 15 years of experience in software development, systems administration, or other technical development
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar or equivalent practical experience
• Working experience with Node.js development
• Ability to guide multiple initiatives across multiple teams
• Responds well to ambiguity and works efficiently to clarify situations and outcomes
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
• Has significant knowledge about the current technical stack and architectural constraints
• Has awareness of emerging technologies
• Previous architectural experiences on sizable digital projects is a big plus
• Understanding of software development life-cycle
• Familiar with modern software architectures and API-driven development
• Track record of excellent organizational skills to prioritize and execute projects with cross-functional teams

Bonus skills / experience

• Agile management experience is preferred
• Experience with small and medium business product development
• Experience with SaaS product development
• Passion for emerging technologies and vision for end goal in achieving customer needs through applying technical concepts
• Comfortable working under pressure with tight timelines.
• Recognized team leader to deliver required changes and maintain flexibility when changing priorities
