RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of all stages in the testing process:
• Understanding the software requirements, current behavior, and specifications,
• Ensuring things work as expected and actively trying to break the product by trying imaginative usage scenarios and conditions,
• reporting bugs and talking to both the developers and stakeholders to come to a resolution.
• Performs acceptance testing, regression testing, load testing, and smoke testing on an aggressive schedule throughout the sprint cycle
• Participates in Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Sprint Retrospective to provide QA perspective
• Review requirements, acceptance criteria, functional design, technical design, and use case design documents to determine testability across teams and products.
• Take an interest in automated testing – you are either learning, willing to learn, or can already contribute to writing automated tests.

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED & PREFERRED

• 6+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Take delivery as a primary responsibility and must have a can-do attitude.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with Agile software development, specifically within the Scrum framework.
• Experience with API testing
• Experience in AI / Machine Learning testing is an advantage
• Programming skills (i.e. Java, Python, etc.) preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
