With more than 15 years of managed network service experience, Gateway would like to develop its own Global SDWAN Managed Platform with its own network POPs. Right now, we are developing our own 4G and 5G SDWAN network device. We would like to employ two researchers to support our development of the SDWAN device and SDWAN management platform.

Job Responsibilities

Participate on a project team of engineers involved in development of software for SDWAN routers that may include one or more of the following list of responsibilities:

1)     Contribute to system architecture design and write functional specs.

2)     Write and provide recommendations to design specs.

3)     Develop complex and multiple modules of code

4)     Debug problems of complex scope at the system level.

5)     Write unit test plan. Perform subsystem/System level unit tests.

6)     Identify and resolve problems found during internal verification or testing at customer sites.

Required Qualifications

1)     EE Master Degree + Business Master Degree and with 5+ years of telecommunication experience

2)     Strong, hands-on knowledge on Linux, data structures, design patterns and algorithms

3)     Ability to design new data structures and algorithms

4)     Work Independently. Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

5)     In-depth knowledge of one or more of the LAN/WAN and network layer protocols is a must

6)     In-depth knowledge in Device driver writing and systems knowledge is a plus

7)     Sound knowledge of operating systems concepts

8)     Good Knowledge & working experience in TCP/IP, routing and related networking protocols is highly desirable

9)     Experience with NAT, Firewall, DPI, IPS, NGFW, SSL and/or other network services related products is preferred

10)   Full use and application of standard networking theories, concepts, and techniques and develop new concepts and techniques

11)   Experience in identifying and redesigning code to address system scale and performance issues.

12)   Understand product level architecture and ability to contribute to the bigger architecture in the areas of modules of ownership

13)   Exposure to complete system development life cycle
