Responsibilities

• Build a reliable and scalable data pipeline for big data processing.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data analyst to turn raw data into insights.
• Build machine learning products (eg. recommendation system) leveraging the data we collected from production.

Requirements

• Diploma or above
• At least 3 years of backend system development experience
• Familiar with Linux environment
• Advanced working SQL knowledge
• Solid experience in at least one JVM-family language (e.g. Java, Scala) and one scripting language (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
• Solid experience in using cloud data infrastructure to build ETL pipeline, data warehouse and data lake, e.g. AWS, Airflow, Spark, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis
• Experience with machine learning technology (e.g. Tensorflow, Keras) is a plus
• Experience with container technology (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• A self-starter who is willing to take on new challenges and adaptive to changes
• Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
• Good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
