Job Description

• Responsible for delivering the new product model stage to production;
• Handle mechanical design, prototype building and cost estimation, quotation, purchasing and production of new product;
• Responsible for testing activities, trouble-shooting for new product;
• Communicate with US for new project development schedule;
• Train team members for the new process and lead teams in ongoing process improvements;
• Lead the project hitting all project milestones with all predefined deliverables in time, budget under control and product in good quality level.  
• To be responsible for critical parts/material sourcing
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing plant
• Handle ad hoc assignment and projects as required
• Travel to Panyu Office is required

Requirements

• A good Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ experience in product engineering gained from sizeable multinational firms, preferably in engineering and manufacturing industries with PRC exposure is a MUST
• Strong sense of integrity, result oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines
• Excellent leadership and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in 3D drawing software, such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Pro-E, 3ds Max etc.
• Independent and good communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin are essential
