Job Descriptions:

• Provide Technical support for fabric and Lace quality in sample and bulk stage
• Handle and monitor special project on material development/ duplication
• Work closely with Designers and R&D for Trends samples with related to materials
• Monitor and follow-up materials development status and secure on time development 
• Advise potential risk on materials to eliminate potential problem in early stage 
• Set up material specification with supplier, arrange and review testing report with materials development
• Provide options and solution to the Company
• Perform factory assessments with suppliers in China and across South East Asia to ensure they meet the Company’s  requirement 
• Communicate with supplier for market research, regularly present newness materials to designers and sales department
• Seasonal Trends and capsule trends sample arrangement and follow up.
• Arrange and counter sign on QA hangers  

Requirements:

• University degree holder, preferably in textile or equivalent
• 3-4 years or above experience in management level
• 8 years or above experience in global fabric research and development in the  textile industry
• Ability to research fabric according to trend direction and to support business strategies and outlined seasonal expectations
• Highly detail-oriented and ability to drive to completion with strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Solid base of mill and supplier contacts for area of specialization, yarn, knit, woven, trims
• Current technical knowledge in area of fabric specialization as it relates to fabric qualities, specifically fabric construction, content, dyeing, printing, finishing, and washing techniques including mill capabilities and limitations
• Knowledge of fabric shows and research avenues
• High proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good knowledge of PC Software Applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Required to station in Panyu, China
