Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling PR and media matters, including crisis management and media enquiries, coordinating media interview, monitoring and following up interviews and post-publications;
  • Lead the production of corporate publications and the management of internal and external communications;
  • Responsible for writing, editing and proofreading corporate materials and communications copy, including annual & interim reports, newsletter, eDM, brochure, photo-book, blogs, and other materials such as press release and speech;
  • Take lead of designated social media projects;
  • Manage corporate identity (CI) system, such as  subsidiaries' CI management, CI manual management;
  • Plan and implement internal and external activities, such as site visits, management meeting, media visit, press conference, etc.;
  • Responsible for website maintenance, such as content update and revamp;
  • Maintain and monitor database (project list, media list, internal record, etc.)
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Requirements

  • Degree Holder in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Language or related disciplines;
  • 3-5 years of solid working experience in corporate communications / advertising / marketing / media / public relations in sizeable organisation is an advantage;
  • Internet savvy, knowledge and skills in social media administration, digital content development and digital marketing are preferred;
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese writing skills is a MUST;
  • Mature and experience in leading teams;
  • Responsible, proactive, detail-minded, independent, well-organised, creative, a good player and with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to meet deadline and work under pressure, required to work overtime and at irregular hours during peak seasons.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and Chinese word processing;
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken of English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Corporate Communications Officer;
