Job Purpose

The Procurement Specialist position is responsible for developing responsive purchasing skills and sourcing activities across the region. These skills include working with existing suppliers, building product knowledge, price negotiation, and logistics. This is an important role within our company that has direct impact to our business.

Essential Job Duties

• Assertive to identify and evaluate potential new suppliers (ODM, OEM and brokers)
• Engage in regular meetings and maintain a good relationships with existing suppliers
• Act as the subject matter expert of Keep abreast of latest market trends with in-depth research and analysis
• Conduct negotiation, pricing analysis and cost evaluation with vendors
• Requirement sourcing, purchase order placement and entry, logistics, order expediting and discrepancy resolution
• Support inventory management for all required parts
• Participate in various ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• 1-2 years+ of relevant experience in the sourcing field; procurement knowledge in the semiconductor industry is highly advantageous
• Passionate, proactive, self-motivated and result-driven
• Can work under pressure and fast pace environment
• Detail oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written and oral English
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic level of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
