About the Team

Our Buying team is ultimately responsible for the products we sell. While most retail Buyers only go out a few times a year, ours are always out saving amazing products at the verge of disposal. As an Associate Buyer, you will be introduced to Buying and given the chance to gain invaluable experience, analysing and identifying business trends while reporting directly to an experienced Buyer. After sufficient training, you will start using your negotiation skills to make buying decisions on the spot. This means you can stay very close to the business and be more flexible – as well as negotiate some fantastic deals. You will be an entrepreneur, have responsibility and make a big impact. Responsibilities

• Support Buyers on a variety of administrative functions.
• Communicate with approximately 50+ vendors to maintain efficient inventory level.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on vendor shipments.
• Gather market intelligence in the area of pricing and product evaluation.
• Visit our stores to critique merchandise mix.
• Interface with all levels of management and communicate with multiple internal and external contacts on a routine basis.
• Support the production of selling and promotional materials.
• Prepare regular reports for management review.
• Investigate product complaints and propose remedial actions to Buyers.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years working experience will be preferred.
• Proven experience in client negotiation, driving business account from zero to one to deliver results.
• Mature, customer-oriented, detailed minded and presentable.
• Top-notch problem solving and hustle skills, plus ability to adapt to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Good command in English and Chinese.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
