Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute buying strategy and product mix for each season's collection to maximize sales and inventory turnover based on the given OTB;
- Prepare weekly reports and monitor seasonal sell-through every week. Suggest quick response solution for merchandise distribution, stock allocation and merchandise re-ordering to ensure appropriate level of stock are maintained in order to drive sales targets;
- Responsible for formulating merchandise launch plan, partner closely with Logistics team on deliveries, Visual Merchandising team and Retail team in the execution of merchandise assortment and product presentation, Marketing team on product focus and launch;
- Work closely with Retail team to monitor sales analysis of sales performance;
- Prepare and provide seasonal product training to retail team;
- Conduct product market research and shop visits regularly;
- Communicate closely with brand principal on merchandise feedback and requests.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in fashion/textiles or related disciplines;
- Minimum 3-4 years’ buying experience, preferably in premium brands and/or Leather Goods and Shoes categories;
- Good team player, capable administer and also able to work independently under pressure;
- Strong fashion and numerical sense with excellent analytical skills;
- Proficient in using MS Word, PowerPoint and strong skillset on Excel is a MUST;
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
