Job Description
DNA Recruit Partners is partnering with one of the leading Architecture & Interior designing group in Hong Kong . Their business has been operating in over 5 countries in APAC region and Europe, they continuously expanding its top class projects globally. Their Hong Kong office is now searching for an experienced Senior Legal Executive (Global Architecture & Interior designing group, in-house role) to join their Legal team. The successful candidate will advanced their in negotiating contracts with clients and sub-consultants, handling breach of contracts and conducting legal research to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full range of legal and regulatory support for Hong Kong Headquarter and overseas offices
- Assist in local and overseas regulatory affairs, such as telecommunications license application, renewal, filing of statutory returns, liaison with regulators, other regulatory compliance matters, etc
- Drafting, reviewing and revising all aspect of agreements including non-disclosure agreements, design service agreements, sub-consultancy agreements, tender submission, memorandum of understanding, and other commercial legal documents.
- Negotiating contracts with clients and sub-consultants;
- Handling breach of contracts in a timely manner;
- Conducting legal research to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws;
- Keeping awareness on updated legal cases in relation to the industry including IP right, breach of contracts, professional indemnity insurance;
- Liaising with project directors/senior architectures to analyze and determine comprehensive contract terms;
- Responding to queries on legal issues from other project team and detect legal risks;
- Handling ad hoc matters as required
Requirements:
- LLB holder, business administrative, corporate governance or equivalence
- Minimum 8 years of relevance working experiences in a legal assistant,Legal executive or Legal Contract drafting role from law firm or in-house in any MNC or listed group, preferably Architecture & Interior designing group
- Self-motivated, attention to details with strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently
- Solid experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts documents
- Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills
