Responsibilities:

• Assist on all legal and regulatory matters, in particular, to assist in ensuring that relevant legal and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong, Macau and other applicable jurisdictions are complied with.
• Assist with the corporate secretarial function.
• Provide legal advice in connection with major business initiatives and transactions.
• Assist to ensure that the Business Compliance Framework is in place, applied, monitored and updated as required across the organisation, covering both Hong Kong and Macau.
• Assist with complaint investigations and replies.
• Assist in undertaking tasks to ensure the company’s Business Continuity program, plans, exercises and reporting is undertaken in accordance with company standards.
• Provide trainings to management and staff on compliance, risk and data protection.

 Requirements:

•  LLB/JD with at least 4 years of legal and compliance experience in regulatory, or other financial areas, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Sound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Have a track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with individuals at various levels.
• Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication, negotiation and problem resolution skills to be capable of dealing with all levels of personnel as well as external parties.
• Demonstrate ability to function in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple and diverse responsibilities.
• Able to work in a diverse environment and culture.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
