Capital Dynamics is hiring a fund manager/RO to expand its small Hong Kong operations.

Job description :

We seek a fund manager with experience in managing SFC authorized funds for our business expansion.  Candidates who have 5 years’ experience in managing retail funds will be at an advantage.

Responsibilities :

As a fund manager, your work will require conducting timely and critical analysis of listed companies and arrive at their intrinsic valuations, based on the supply chain research methodology and their business models.

Besides assisting the CEO in managing funds, you will assist in growing the business of the company, supervise the Type 9 regulated activity of the company, and conduct investment research and analysis. As part of a small team, this role needs wide-ranging responsibilities.

Requirements :

Candidates with demonstrable track record in managing SFC-authorised funds or public funds or Exchange Traded Funds either in Hong Kong or in other recognized jurisdictions will have an advantage. 

As you will be licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission as one of our Responsible Officers (RO), you will also need to have some management experience, such as leading a team or supervising subordinates. 

Candidates are required to have solid degrees from reputable universities as the minimum academic requirement.

Having the right character, attitudes, and a readiness to meet tight deadlines are expected. You must be self-motivated, highly analytical, resourceful, street smart, able to clearly communicate ideas and judgment and most of all, have a deep sense of integrity.
