On behalf of a leading company in food industry, we are seeking for high caliber to fill the position of Quality Assurance Director.

Accountabilities

• Key contributor to the quality strategy and accountable for the development and execution of the food safety and quality strategy system
• Take leadership in the proactive development and implementation of quality initiatives in a cost-effective manner that is aligned to the corporate quality strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the periodic reviews of quality systems are conducted and implement necessary changes or corrective actions as appropriate.
• Develop and manage in-house testing and analytical capabilities
• Maintain relationships with external suppliers and execute regular risk assessment

Attributes

• Bachelors degree in a Food Science or scientific discipline
• Minimum 10 years Food Safety and Quality Assurance management experience in food industry
• A visionary, intuitive leader with integrity and proven ability to achieve optimum quality and operational efficiency
• Knowledge of food technology, food microbiology, safe food handling procedures and foodservice sanitation practices
• Solid understanding of ISO and HACCP regulatory requirements
• Effective communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Experienced in working with regulatory agencies or manufacturers is a plus
