Job Description
- Develop and deliver sales plan (Volume and Value) for the Hong Kong optical market for Luxottica’s brands across different channels serving both independents and local chains supported by a Sales mgr. - Conduct regular market intelligence studies (retail landscape changes, KPIs of partners, competition behavior); - Maximize Luxottica brand share at POS level through customer segmentation, smart sell-in programs and effective sellout strategies; -
Present and sell-in new Sunglass and optical frame collections 3 times a year both through local events and in international (global) buying event leveraging multiple physical
and digital tools.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 10+ members - Coach members in respective aspects, including sell-in techniques and brand/collection presentation, to improve efficiency and effectiveness to grow the business in the region; - Define and monitor KPIs for members to manage performance in terms of productivity and discipline;
- Work closely with Key Accounts and Department stores (with the help of a Key Account team) to implement global and regional Key Account practices leading to a dominant market share at the POS level; -
Work with internal departments (Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance) to significantly improve customer service levels and consequently satisfaction.
- Promote and respect brand, visual merchandising and pricing guidelines in partnership with regional brand / local trade marketing managers; - Develop the right market assortment in partnership with regional product and brand managers; - Develop and implement customers assortments to drive brands and improved fill rate + sellout
- Coordinate with all internal teams at the Hong Kong, China offices and DC in Dongguan (customer service, planning, logistics / operations, marketing, finance); - Be aware at any time at which stage you are of the sales and production cycle to ensure timely delivery of stock; - Analyze daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and develop presentations to track performance against KPI targets and future plans / initiatives |
Required Experience & Skills: - 8+ years of experience as Sales manager, better if in multi-national companies - 4+ years of experience on people management - Proficiency on number, KPI setup, process, coaching - Wholesale experience on FMCG, watches, cosmetics, fashion accessories will be a plus
