The position is responsible for all regulatory affairs and product regulatory compliance for Food in Dairy Farm. She/he will support the Food Safety, Product Technology, Sourcing and Brand Departments with regulatory guidance and review to consistently deliver quality, safety and legality to meet specification, labeling requirement and customers’ expectations. She/he will manage the Label Compliance team members.

The Job

• Provide expertise and guidance on Food regulatory affairs to marketing, Sourcing, Technical and commercial team with regulatory guidance in order to ensure all Government legislation are met.
• Ensure Label Compliance team approve products based on local regulations.
• Maintain local relationship with government to keep active track of potential changes in product regulations, liaise with government contacts for day to day interpretation of various regulations and guidelines
• Monitoring the regulation trend on the markets and updating the internal stakeholder, and conduct risk assessments/analyses and anticipates possible business impacts.
• Proactively provides coaching on merchandising process execution and compliance trainings to internal stakeholders.
• Monitoring all markets product license validity and controversial ingredient and provide sufficient support and guidance for all the product registration in all markets
• Review all the product claim related marketing material to ensure full regulatory compliance

The Person

• Th University Degree in Science –preferably in Food Science and Technology
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in in regulatory affairs for Food Retail / Development / Manufacturing.  Solid experience in product registration for local markets such as ASEAN and China will be preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate effectively, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
• Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and negotiating skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
• Good command of both written & spoken English (and applicable local language e.g. Chinese).
• Independent, hardworking and self-motivated
• Proficient in MS Office including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.e Person
