Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the short and long term technical and product development strategies which accordance with company’s goal.
- Devise and execute systematic management, provide both scientific and technical guidance, initiate and/or contribute to projects for the development of bio-chip products; monitor project status and overall progress toward project goals.
- Develop and coach a technically diverse team encompassing the areas of biotechnology, chemistry and engineering. Ensure efficient communication between MainlandChina and Hong Kong R&D teams, and with business operation teams.
- Ensure good compliance of regulatory requirements throughout product development.
- Integrate scientific and clinical perspectives for innovations in product and business. Identify and assess cutting-edge technologies and collaboration opportunities with external parties.
- Exercise and broaden a deep understanding of biotechnology and their interactions in disease diagnostics.
Requirements:
- PhD in Biology/Chemistry or related discipline.
- Over 10 years working experience (at least 5 years of managerial roles), in medical diagnostics and biotechnology industry.
- In-depth knowledge in medical devices particularly bio-chip technology (GMP/ISO13485).
- Clear and strategic vision of how to create business value from R&D deliverables.
- Familiar with the cFDA and FDA regulations and technical guidelines.
- Strong organization, planning and work coordination skills.
- Meticulous and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staff.
- Responsible, independent, detail minded and can work under pressure.
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
