Role and Responsibilities:

• Leading a logistics team and oversee the entire logistics workflow with a macro view to improve overall process and system efficiency;
• Review current process and standard operation procedure (SOP);
• Coordinate among internal departments, customers and third-party-logistics (3PL) to solve shipping issues in different countries;
• Well verse in all shipping procedures and document requirements;
• Provide solution to any issue relating to logistics and distribution;
• Identify root cause of any issues relating to logistics and distribution, implement corrective actions and lead trouble shooting activities;
• Analyse and drive performance to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in logistics or supply chain management;
• Minimum 10 years' experience in logistics management of which 5 years in managerial / supervisory role from multi-national traders/manufacturers;
• Strong knowledge of ocean, air, truck and direct shipment;
• Good understanding of global trade compliance, shipping documentation and customs clearance process in PRC, Asia, U.S. and EU countries;
• Sound knowledge in handling tariffs and duties matters will be an advantage;
• 3PL work experience, manufacturing and supply chain management experience is preferred;
• Strong in leadership, problem solving and communication skills;
• Good command in Putonghua and English;
• Based in HK with regular traveling and working in China factory;
• 5 days work, bank holiday, medical allowance;
• Working location :  FO TAN / N.T.
