Currie & Brown is currently looking for an assistant accountant for our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will provide general assistance to the finance team on a daily basis.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

• Assisting with daily accounting operations for the HK office, mainly performing accounts receivable, accounts payable and banking functions, including bank transactions and reconciliation
• Inputting data, vouchers, accounting schedules, month-end and year-end closing
• Handling inter-company transfers and maintaining inter-company records
• Preparing debtor/creditor reports, income/cost analyses, schedules for project review and financial analysis

Qualifications:

• Certificate/diploma in accounting (LCCI intermediate or higher)
• A minimum of two years' accounting experience
• Good MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of Agresso is an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, well-organised, accurate and detail-oriented
• Good team player, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Immediate availability is desirable
