Responsibilities:

Assist Finance Department of the regional office of Hutchison Asia Telecom in all finance related matters for the regional office as well as the mobile operations in three fast-growing Asian markets – Indonesia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.  Major responsibilities include: 

• Close liaison with the accounting outsourcing teams and assist in the following for a group of holding companies:
  • Preparation of reporting packages and related supporting schedules
  • Preparation or checking of statutory and management accounts and tax reports
  • Perform data compilation, reconciliation and analysis
  • Support in payment and expense claim processes
• Assist in the preparation of group consolidated financial reports and presentation materials
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management 

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Accounting or related discipline, registered student of recognised professional accountancy bodies (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA) or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong communication skill, able to work as a team and build good relationship with business units
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially strong in Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience in Oracle accounting systems / Hyperion is preferable
