Role Objective / Purpose

The role of Accounts Clerk – Accounts Payable is to assist the Accountant in handling account payable function, monthly schedule & reconciliation and performing the financial accounting jobs for month end.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for general daily accounts payable function.
• Process payments.
• Handle expenses reimbursement claims.
• Prepare management reports relating to accounts payable.
• Prepare balance sheet and monthly schedules relating to accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support ad-hoc assignments.

Person specification

Qualification：

• Diploma or above in Accountancy or Finance
• LCCI Inter-mediate level or above with 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred

Knowledge：

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Knowledge in accounting system is a definite advantage
• Proficient in MS Word & Excel

Skill (including technical and people skill):

• Good English language skill both verbal and writing

• Good computer skill especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Other Requirements

• Responsible and able to work overtime to meet tight report deadlines
• Immediate available is preferred
