Job Description

Our client, a Hong Kong's cultural authority is now looking for a facility officer to assist the daily operation of the District Facility Services Department. 

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Liaising and coordinating with the Relevant Authorities, user departments, operators and tenants on matters in relation to the facilities management of the Venue;
  • Managing and supervising the overall day to day operations including cleaning and security;
  • Preparing the defect list for any irregularity and non-compliance during the building takeover period and assisting the supervisor in the follow-up with the building contractor;
  • Assisting in buildings takeover process;
  • Conducting the routine inspections and prepare inspection reports;
  • Managing and supervising the outsourced Facility Management service provider(s) to ensure quality services are delivered in compliance with SLA and KPI requirements;
  • Ensuring the reports submitted by the service provider(s) are accurate and on time as required;
  • Assisting in preparing documentation of relevant procurement activities e.g. quotation document, purchase order, and proceed goods receive, etc.;
  • Working closely with the outsourced Facility Management service provider(s) to maintain and update standard operating procedures, training manuals, etc.;
  • Assisting in the management of emergency incidents, attending to any incident in a timely and effective manner; and
  • Performing other duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by District Facilities Services Department.

 

You should:

  • possess a Higher Diploma or above preferably in Facilities Management, Property Management or equivalent;
  • have at least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities/property management;
  • have good knowledge of Hong Kong Building/ Property Management regulations and Ordinances; environmental, sustainability and other related building operation guidelines.
  • possess proficiency in computer applications and software like MS Word and Excel etc.; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
