An exciting back office job opportunity opened to experienced FX/Treasury product operations acumen to join an international, multi-cultural CIB to execute FX/MM/Payment settlement confirmation.

Our client is a well-known international CIB that has been operated in major countries worldwide. They provide capital markets, investment banking, structured finance and corporate banking to serve in large international markets.

Exciting New Role for You

• Responsible for daily settlement of mainly FXMM covering Euro zone and Asia regions in HK processing center to ensure the daily operational activities of capital markets products are performed smoothly and efficiently
• Monitor the CLS payment between Agent Banks and CLS Bank.
• Handle discrepancies pertaining to trade and settlement details and liaise with FO, broker and external counter-party for any mismatch
• Monitor payment done by back office system throughout the day to ensure that all intra day cut off times are met.
• Operate payment messages directly into SWIFT Alliance.
• Manage the cancellation and amendment process in all back office settlement systems.
• Provide operational support for the Front Office’s during active time zones in a professional and effective manner.
• Escalate to management with information for any unusual booking and settlement matters.
• Assist Head of Back Office / Line manager to carry out common projects / global initiatives, system enhancement and participate in UAT testing.
• Perform investigation in settlement discrepancies and related outstanding issues.
• Participate in ad hoc projects assigned by management from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 5 years' FX/MM/Payment back office experience
• Strong Knowledge of FX/MM product & payment platforms
• Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese & English
• Literacy in MS Office, VBA
