Cheung & Sons Holdings Limited is currently looking for an Investment Analyst (real estate financing) as part of their 2020 plans for their investments team based in Hong Kong headquarter with a focus on real estate financing deals in HK & China.

Assisting the senior members of the team, you will be responsible for:

• Liaising with various external parties (loan brokers, consultants, solicitor firms, surveying firms, commercial & investment bankers, developers) to seek for financing opportunities (private credit, developer’s loan, structure finance, leveraged M&A loan, syndication loan, project finance) in the target regions
• Working with other co-lenders and/or partners to structure financing deals to satisfy borrowers’ needs
• Reviewing & negotiating financing related documents in the financing transactions
• Preparing credit proposals, background checking, comparable analysis, sensitivity analysis, valuation for Senior Management’s approval
• Coordinating the third party consultants for financing project due diligence & documentation
• Maintaining data base of real estate financing transactions for benchmarking
• Maintaining and enhancing professional skills, abilities and relationships to enhance performance within the real estate industry

To qualify, candidates will possess:

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, Surveying, Real Estate or related disciplines with professional qualification are highly preferred
• At least 2-3 years solid experience in business development in money lenders or loan division/ SME division/ corporate banking division in banks (with proven track record) is a MUST
• Familiar with the process of loan underwriting and structuring & relevant regulatory requirements
• A team-player with excellent coordination, negotiation and communication skills
• Astute commercial sense, strong analytical skills and superior critical thinking
• Highly attention to details
• Able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
• Able to work independently
• Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
