About the role

At Welab, we should stay connected and keep abreast of the latest technological development to drive for an innovative and digital servicing model to exceed our customer expectation.  As the Loan Operations Officer, you will be responsible for providing support on loan approval process according to internal policies, compliance and regulatory requirement.

What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• Review customer’s financial status, Credit Bureau Report, document and internal credit history to facilitate loan approval processing
• Process applications according to Credit and AML policies, compliance and regulatory requirement
• Perform verification to detect fraud application and prevent fraud
• Perform day end reconciliation and monitor all outstanding application
• Prepare MIS report to management for progress monitoring

What is required and what we’re looking for

• Higher Diploma or above
• Minimum 2 years related experience in personal loan products. With approval delegation is an advantage
• Self-initiative and good team player
• Organized, responsible and keen for improvement opportunity
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written English and Chinese
