• Monitor the macro economic situation of the global market, China and Hong Kong, the government’s fiscal and monetary policy, t the policy of HKMA and SFC, etc., and research on some specific industries (e.g. property, insurance industry, etc.), business segments and hot topics (e.g.FinTech, the Greater Bay Area, One Belt One Road, etc.) in order to cope with business development of the Bank
• Evaluate and analyze the potential impact of economic changes, and report the economic forecast that would affects the banking industry
• Recommend strategic plan to resolve new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies with the Bank’s competitive edge, quantify theperformance on the Bank's operations
• Prepare presentation deck and reports of the Bank’s overall and segmental business performance for the management, headquarters and external organizations; draft research report on banking peers’ competitive edges and their business overview
• Attend and report the latest economic trend in internal committee’s meetings
• Develop metrics tomeasure features and outcome of banking products and services.
• Take lead in consultancy projects with the third parties and ad hoc projects if needed
• Master degree holder or above
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Deputy Corporate Communications Manager (Strategic Research).
