Job Description
Our client which is a leading chinese based brokerage is currently looking for an experienced credit approver for their business.
Responsibilities
- To complete the credit monitoring task and to take the remedy/ risk mitigation action of minimizing the market/trading loss
- Identify and seek for on-going improvements on daily workflow in a cost-effective way
- Enforce compliance of credit policies, methods and procedures, including proper and timely reporting,
- Conduct analysis, and approval of exceptional cases
- Liaise with other departmental teams or vendors in a proactive role in handling projects
- Provide opinion and judgment/decision in daily credit risk management issue
- Initiate credit-related and financing issues in the credit committee/ ad hoc meeting
- Participate in various risk management related projects and tasks
- Candidate with more experience and exposure in Market Risk or other regime of the risk management function, will be considered as a senior position
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Mathematics/Financial Engineering/Risk Management, CFA/FRM is a plus
- Minimum 6-8 years working experience in related risk control function in a global or Chinese investment bank/securities house
- Exposure in Market Risk or other regime of the risk management function is an advantage
- Excellent quantitative, analytical and computer skills
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
