Job Description

Our client, is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services, is seeking a Procurement Operations Analyst to support their operation. 

As the Procurement Operations Analyst for Procurement and Purchasing, you will work with the GC Integrated Purchasing Managers, as well as both internal and external business partners to successfully support, streamline, and deploy strategic capabilities for the Procurement Operations team. You will assist in the development and drive operational plans for the GC functional team (CoE) around process, training, and developing capabilities and share expertise on best practices with Global partner (CoEs).

This role will report directly to the GC Integrated Purchasing Manager for Procurement and Purchasing, and dot line report to finance manager in HK territory.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Serve as a coach for a set of business groups, providing training, escalation issue resolution, and best practice coaching for all S2P Operations capabilities (vendor set up to payment)
  • Partner with Procurement Operations and Global Procurement in the resolution of complex business issues
  • Capture, report, and leverage key metrics for all business teams supported to identify trends, issues, and opportunities to optimize the business or S2P Operations environment (process, policy, system, operating model)
  • Identify and recommend future state solutions and capabilities that enable the vendor payment to invoicing processes and policies; lead process improvement activities in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Coach internal and external partners to drive adherence on standard purchasing and invoicing processes and tools to ensure efficient, scalable S2P operations
  • Provide subject matter expertise and input to strategic projects to build S2P infrastructure.
  • Manage and foster relationships with both internal partners and external partners to ensure efficient process and project execution
  • Prepare and deliver dynamic presentations both within S2P Operations and to cross-functional teams, including senior leader communications.
  • Monitor and enable daily Procure to Pay process are on track, includes PR/PO with the right band level approval, PO issue with the right supplier and valid contract, GR/GR reverse completion with valid supporting and compliance, regular billing check and payment proposal submission.
  • Deliver governance and deployment capabilities for Procure to Pay policy, process, system and support capability enhancement in partnership with related cross pillars stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain digital analytics solutions and key operational metrics for ongoing performance measurement.
  • Lead the collaboration and cooperation of plans to drive business results, process excellence and sustained capabilities
  • Prepare and deliver dynamic presentations both within S2P Operations and to cross-functional teams, including senior leader communications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field with emphasis in operations, finance, or procurement
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an operations or finance-related field
  • Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Skilled Excel and PowerPoint user with practical experience in deciphering data and presenting information to multiple organizational levels
  • Strong/ effective communication skills, analytical skills, capable of collecting and interpreting data to identify projects
  • learns quickly and can apply skills to new projects or situations. Demonstrates curiosity and passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • Results orientation, good team player, strong execution capability
  • Practical experience with business process reengineering or LEAN process improvement desired
  • Good organization and planning skills; good time management for emergent issue and priorities
  • Familiar with purchasing tool like (Ariba/Coupa/SRM…etc)
