Job Description
This position offers significant growth and advancement opportunities. This team is in the process of considerable expansion and as a dedicated member of a regional deal team, this role requires a deep understanding of real estate credit.
Responsibilities:
- Take lead on deal execution from origination, to structuring, underwriting
- Originate, evaluate and oversee the execution of mezzanine and preferred equity investments across all asset classes and loan negotiation
- Present comprehensive investment committee memoranda detailing investment rationale and deal returns
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably real estate credit, distressed or special situtioan funds
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required, emphasis in real estate preferred
- Solid understanding of real estate credit
- Strong quantitative skills including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniques
- Sound commercial judgment and strong presentation skills
