Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analyses across various sectors and asset classes, including fixed income, equities (public and private), alternative investments and structured assets
• Screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities
• Prepare investment papers for Investment Committee
• Assist the investment team in portfolio management and day-to-day operation of the general funds, including risk monitoring and investment compliance
• Support the execution of various investment transactions and post-investment activities of existing portfolio
• Liaise with external managers and other professional parties
• Handle other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics, actuarial or related disciplines; with 3 to 5 years' working experience, preferably in insurance industry
• Practical knowledge in portfolio management and analysis
• Alternative investments and derivatives knowledge is an advantage
• Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in both written English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage
• CFA or CAIA is an advantage
