Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties with minimal supervision including preparation of cost plans, cost estimates, procurement and tendering, tender evaluation, cashflow forecast, contract administration, valuations, variations, final account, etc.
• Prepare the taking off from drawings and pricing for cost plans, cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
• Attend meetings and site inspections when required
• Negotiating tenders, variations and final accounts with contractors
• Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly and review reports where necessary
• Comply with the Company’s QA requirements and best practice
• Excellent problem solving skills, organized and proactive team player

Requirements

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• MRICS or MHKIS is preferred but not a must
• Min. 10 years relevant working experience in Hong Kong in a consultancy practice is required
• Knowledge and experience of undertaking projects in Macau is essential
• Knowledge and understanding of Retail and F&B projects is essential
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in adding value to clients in the Pre-Construction and Project Planning Phases.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese is essential
• Candidate must have solid experience in pre and post contract works
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Quantity Surveyor.
