Job Description

Arup Programme and Project Management (PPM) has been developed since 1985. We deliver programme & project management and individual management services throughout different stages in project cycle.

PPM (East Asia) covers different areas in the region including PRC, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, etc. We are looking for high calibre candidate to lead and grow the current PRC PPM teams in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. 


Responsibilities:

  • Create new services to suit market needs, explore new business opportunities, develop and strengthen PPM services for PRC market
  • Assist in driving revenue growth for the group and prepare annual business plan
  • Direct project planning, managing and control the execution of multi-disciplinary projects from inception to handover with high quality, within schedule and budget
  • Collaborate with other design and advisory services disciplines in business development and services delivery
  • Competent in Design Management, Statutory Submission Management, Cost Management, Risk Management, Value Management, Stakeholders Management, and other project management aspects
  • Develop training framework, coach junior staff and their career development

Qualifications and Experiences required:

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Surveying or other related disciplines
  • Corporate membership of relevant professional institution(s)
  • At least 20 years of relevant experience in project management
  • Strong problem-solving skill and commercially aware
  • Proactive mindset with strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
