The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer in Interspace, you will work with our Directors to create innovative, winning design presentations, lead our junior designers to support the creative vision for your projects, supervise project construction together with our Project Managers, and work to enhance our library of design references, materials, and details.

You will have full exposure to all aspects of the design and build process and have the opportunity to progress to a Project Design Management role in our team. Our cutting-edge "co-working studio" is the perfect place to develop your career and shape the future growth of our practice.

The Package

Salary: HK$30,000 to HK$42,000 per month, depending on experience and ability

Raises/Promotions: Assessed by the Directors on your employment anniversary

Bonus: Performance-based (company + individual)

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Annual Leave: 12 days (same for everyone in Interspace)

Company Holidays: Standard "Bank Holidays" (i.e. General Holidays)

The Hard Part

Do you have what it takes to join our team?

1 -    You graduated from a university-level program with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture and you have at least 8 full years experience working in the interior design field in Hong Kong. Exceptional candidates without degrees will still be considered.

2 -    You can communicate in English confidently. We would prefer if you can also speak Cantonese, Mandarin, or any other second language (although it's not mandatory).

3 -    You have plenty of practical experience using both AutoCAD and SketchUp in a team/collaborative studio (there are no solo warriors here).

4 -    You are an over achiever with above-average intelligence and a highly creative sense of design.

5 -    You ask questions constantly and aren't afraid to defend your belief/position, but you can also accept when you're wrong and learn from it!
