Duties

The appointee will conduct R&D work on the development of material and ink/paste for printed sensors and other devices. Primary responsibilities include the synthesis of polymer material with improved viscoelasticity for sensor application, optimization of ink/paste formula of monomer and/or polymer material, characterization of material and sensor performance, development of film coating process, preparation of reports and standard operation procedures, and incubation of ideas to explore collaboration opportunity with industrial partners. 

Requirements

• PhD. or MSc. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Material Science/Engineering or related disciplines;
• Solid knowledge in polymer synthesis and material properties;
• Extensive hands-on experience on development and characterization of coating materials, elastomer, and curing process.
• Prior experience with ink/paste development will be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and good communication skills ,
• Positive, analytical, critical thinking and good troubleshooting skill;
• Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing/presentation skills as well as abilities in literature/patent search.
• Candidates with more working experiences will be considered as Sr. Engineer
