Job Description
Smith is currently looking to expand their Hong Kong operations. As one of the world’s leading independent electronics distributor, the successful applicant will play a significant role in Smith’s market leading expertise on global electronics sourcing, logistics and distribution.
We are looking for a Process Quality Manager to support our operations team. This position will play an important part of the daily operations of our supply chain and logistics operations within Asia.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Achieves daily quality control/operational objectives by supervising/leading quality control team during the component inspection and counterfeit detection laboratory testing to meet customer needs and expectations
- Monitors the laboratory operations/processes through maintaining the necessary procedures/processes/equipment in accordance ISO 17025:2017 requirement
- Maintains and improves the quality management systems through complying with relevant ISO/ESD certifications, assisting customer/3rd party surveillance audits and addressing customer feedback/complaints
- Innovates and develops quality specifications in line with company guidelines and quality protocols globally
- Provides continual training to the quality control team on quality control plans and tools to reduce the quality discrepancies and NCRs.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field in Engineering
- At least 5 years' experience in electronics and semiconductor industry or similar
- Working Knowledge of various quality, environment and safety systems, such as TQM,ISO-9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc..
- Working knowledge of HOKLAS procedures and authorized signatory background is highly desirable
- Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Proactive, self-motivated, independent, detailed-oriented and responsible
- Pleasant, team worker, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
- Available to work on weekends when required
