Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with internal and external parties to plan, manage and test engineering projects
• Collaborate with equipment supplier to support Telecom Switch, Servers and NFV equipment
• Understand and troubleshoot the Telecom protocols such as VoIP (SIP & H.323), C7 signalling, MAP signalling and s6a diameter signalling etc.
• Provision, implement and configure of Telecom Switch and Servers to meet commercial requirements
• Install, commission and provide support to systems running with operating system such as MS Windows, Linux OS and VMWare
• Configure and support IP network & MPLS equipment such as Router, IP Switch etc.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in telecommunication industry
• Familiar with Telecom signalling protocols including ISUP, PRI, H.323, SIP and MAP is a must
• Familiar with Ribbon (ex-Sonus) NGN architecture and operation is highly preferred
• Sound knowledge in IP protocols such as TCP/IP, IPSec, TLS etc.
• Sound knowledge in MS Windows, Linux OS, VMWare architecture and applications
• Experience in administration of VMware, NFV equipment is preferred
• Experience in program script implementation in various Operating Systems is preferred
• Experience in technical project management would be an advantage
• Good reporting and interpersonal skills, mature, responsible, independent and with good initiative
•  Good command in both spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English
• 7 X 24 call on emergency is required
