Senior Electronic Engineer (Medical Device)(30K -40K)

Responsibilities

•          Participate in a diagnostic cartridge and reader system development project;
•          Responsible for product mechanical design for handheld cartridge system with liquid handling system;
•          Responsible for electro-mechanical, pneumatic systems and parts, and define integration method between modules;
•          Responsible for parts and integrated system design with manufacturability;
•          Develop technically accurate, clean and deliverable drawings;
•          Participate in conducting verification testing of developed prototype and assist in the development of jig and fixtures;
•          Assist in design risk analysis and technical documentations as required;
•          Conduct patent / literature search on current and new material, technologies and processes.
•          Pre-clinical evaluations, and transfer of product to manufacturing;

Requirements

•          Innovative and sensitive to the market
•          Bachelor Degrees or above in bioengineering, mechatronics, mechanics, electronics, optical and related disciplines;
•          Previous experience in mechanical product design and development with medical device, diagnostic device, particularly in the areas of fluid management, microfluidics, pneumatic design, is an advantage
•          Experience in MCU-based PCBA system design and integration, firmware specification and verification
•          Experience in electrical design CAD system (Altium/Protel)
•          Electrical-design for handheld cartridge system with fluid handling system and EMC will be a plus
•          Able to work in fast pace and dynamic environment with a international mindset
•          Good common in both Written and Spoken English and Mandarin
•          Ambition to achieve goals and Targets
