We are looking for a Test Engineer whose software domain to join our Connected Devices Team.  We are continue expanding the wearable varieties, which include but not limited to - hybrid watches and touch-enabled watches.  You will join the new product development start from check model build and maintain the MP yield target.  You should have testing knowledge on key features in wearable product e.g. BT/Wifi, GPS, speaker, microphone, heart rate..etc.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist development team to facilitate new test solutions from conceptual to final production stage.  Deploy and debugging ATE test software
• Secure all NPI products to have sufficient test coverage for to produce quality products
• New product validation on key electrical features e.g. GPS, Wifi/BT strength, microphone, speaker and power consumption performance.  Work with external lab or suppliers to derive the test protocol to quantify the functionality.  Work with development team to ensure proper hardware and software configurations are ready for validation test
• Maintain MP yield target.  Troubleshoot test related inline reject pareto.  Maintain inline tester stability and quality level
• Manufacturing test control (Software) - Manage test log with shop floor control, upload test log to cloud, manage different test softwares for dedicated production configurations
• Repair tool development - Work out Repair ATE solution with JDM
• Product validation (Software) - Work out tailor made software/execute Android developer tools to simulate specific scenario of usage e.g. Google drain report, GPS bug report, work out software to have specific operation mode for Reliability test

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science)
• 5+ Years of experience in electronics manufacturing industry designing and maintaining test station fixtures and infrastructure
• Python or similar scripting experience
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting
• Android developer tool experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability,with desire to perform hands-on work within lab & production environments
• Love techs, be curious always and REALLY hands on
• Good communication skills in English &Chinese,ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams between US & APAC VN
• Able to travel to factories in China (GuangDong and JiangSu areas)
