Duties:

• Serve many contract assignments under InfoTech's headcount, full-time seconded to serve a client with the public sector for providing programming support to a data processing system
  under a 3-year project for new weather observations collected from the Smart Lampposts (智慧燈柱); 
• Assist set up of computer servers and database;
• Provide programming support for integrating real-time weather data into database with quality control;
• Develop web-based interface to generate real-time weather information at lampposts for internal reference;
• Perform software testing;
• Prepare documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript; proficient in server and application development using programming languages and various development environments;
• At least 1 year's experience in Apache web server, HTML5 and web programming
• Knowledge and experience in some or all of the following will be an advantage: maintaining Linux/UNIX server, network programming, GIS applications, Python, SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, networking, production database support and software testing management;
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma/Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent;
• At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience.
